The Wong Family

The Wong family name came from Residents of the Kingdom of Wong during the Xia Dynasty in ~2100 BC.
The Kingdom was in Henan Province.

Over the next three thousand years the Wongs moved down and across the land.

Our ancestors in the current Guandong Province came down from Fujan Province during the Song Dynasty (1265-1274).

The first Wong to arrive was one ancestor, Sir Juzheng. He is considered the First Generation in Guandong Province.
His 7th generation grandson moved to Nankeng in Taishan County about 5 miles from Taishan City.
