ClockedOut
Know the workplace before you clock in.
ClockedOut helps job seekers spot workplace red flags before investing more time in the wrong company.
Search companies, compare worker reviews, scan culture ratings, and review ghost-job signals in one place. Whether you are applying, interviewing, or deciding between offers, ClockedOut gives you a clearer picture of what workers are reporting behind the job posting.
With ClockedOut, you can:
• Browse company profiles with ratings, review counts, industries, and locations
• Read workplace reviews from people with direct experience
• Compare culture signals like management, work-life balance, compensation, career growth, and diversity
• Filter for poorly rated companies, negative remarks, and ghost-job signals
• View job postings that may have been flagged by users
• Report suspected ghost jobs, stale listings, or misleading posts
• Add a missing company and write the first review
• Share your own workplace experience anonymously
ClockedOut is built for people who are tired of guessing. A polished job description does not always tell the whole story. Companies can look great from the outside while candidates waste hours on roles that are stale, misleading, or never likely to be filled. ClockedOut gives job seekers another signal before they apply.
The app focuses on practical workplace intelligence: what people are saying, how companies are rated, and whether job postings raise concerns. It is not about gossip or takedowns. It is about helping workers make better decisions with clearer information.
Use ClockedOut to research employers, avoid time-wasting applications, surface culture concerns, and contribute reviews that help other workers make informed choices.

ClockedOut Privacy Statement
Effective Date: 08/26/2026
ClockedOut is designed to let people share and view workplace-related information with as little personal information as possible. We do not require users to create an account with an email address, password, phone number, or social login.
Information We Collect
ClockedOut may collect:
- Anonymous app identifier: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a Firebase user ID so the app can securely submit reviews, reports, flags, and other database writes.
- User-submitted content: This may include company submissions, workplace reviews, job-related reports, content reports, ratings, job titles, employment status, and other text you choose to submit.
- Moderation and safety data: We may store reports, flags, timestamps, and related identifiers to review abuse, enforce our guidelines, prevent spam, and protect users.
- Approximate location, if enabled: If you grant location permission, ClockedOut may use your location to help find nearby companies. You can disable location access in iOS Settings.
- Technical data: Firebase and related services may process technical information needed to provide database, authentication, security, diagnostics, and app functionality.
We do not ask for your real name, email address, password, phone number, or social media account to use ClockedOut.

Anonymous Use
ClockedOut uses anonymous authentication. This means the app may assign your device/app session a Firebase Auth user ID, but we do not require traditional account registration. Anonymous IDs help us operate safety features, prevent abuse, and apply database security rules.

Moderation and Blocking
Users can report content they believe violates ClockedOut’s guidelines. We may review, hide, remove, or restrict content at our discretion. Users may also block review authors, which hides that author’s reviews on their device.

We do not sell your personal information.
We may share or process information with service providers that help operate ClockedOut, including Firebase/Google services used for authentication, database hosting, security, and app infrastructure. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, to enforce our guidelines, to investigate abuse or security issues, or to protect users and the public.

We keep user-submitted content and moderation records for as long as needed to operate ClockedOut, maintain safety, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and improve the service. Some content may remain in backups or logs for a limited period after deletion or removal.
