Description of Artivate:
Most drawing apps are built for one person. Artivate is built for everyone in the room — even when the room spans continents.
Artivate is a real-time collaborative drawing app for iPad and Apple Pencil. Open a canvas, send an invite, and start creating together. Every brush stroke, every line, every color choice appears live for all collaborators. There's no lag, no file passing, no "your turn." Just open, fluid, simultaneous creation.
But collaboration isn't just about seeing each other's marks. Artivate includes built-in voice and video chat so you can talk through ideas without switching apps. A live chat panel lets you share thoughts, feedback, and reactions right alongside the artwork. You can see collaborators' cursors moving across the canvas in real time — it feels like standing at the same whiteboard.
When you're ready to share beyond your collaborators, post to the Discover feed where a community of artists browses trending work, follows creators, and finds inspiration. Share any project with a single tap.
Underneath the collaboration is a serious drawing tool: layers, brushes, a full color picker, canvas rotation, photo and file imports, text overlays, and export options — all optimized for Apple Pencil responsiveness.

This Privacy Policy explains how Artivate (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the “App”).

Voice Chat & Real-Time Communications
Artivate uses Agora's real-time communications platform to power voice chat during collaborative drawing sessions. When you use voice chat, the following applies:
• Audio transmission: Your microphone audio is transmitted in real time to other participants in the same canvas session. Audio is processed and routed through Agora's servers to enable this communication.
• Data collected by Agora: Agora may collect technical data including IP addresses, device information, and session metadata to deliver and improve their service. Artivate does not store your audio or transmit it to any other party.
• Session scope: Voice chat is scoped to a single canvas session. Audio is not recorded or retained by Artivate after a session ends.
• Microphone permission: Artivate requests microphone access only when you initiate a voice chat session. You may revoke this permission at any time in your device Settings.
• Authentication: To join a voice session, Artivate verifies your identity using your Firebase account credentials. A short-lived access token is generated server-side and never stored on your device.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the App with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Artivate collects and stores account and app data needed to provide authentication, cloud project storage, collaboration, and support features. This may include email address, user ID, profile information, project artwork, collaboration activity, and basic diagnostic data. Some data may be processed by third-party services such as Firebase for authentication, database/storage, and app functionality.
Artivate uses Firebase, a third-party software development kit provided by Google, to support core app functionality such as user authentication, secure account access, cloud project storage, collaboration features, and app reliability. Firebase may process limited user and app data needed to provide these services, such as email address, user ID, profile information, artwork/project content, collaboration data, and diagnostic or performance information. Artivate does not sell this data, and Firebase is used only to operate, secure, and improve the app experience.
